WHY I DO IT
If you’ve made it this far you’re probably about to hit me up! I truly do appreciate every person that wants me to capture their event, document their milestone or make their vision come to life. I never thought I’d be able to have a job that comes with so much freedom and opportunity for creative expression. This job has allowed me to view the world with a bit more optimism.
A dirty alley is no longer just a dirty alley. I find myself looking for potential in that alley, or picturing a gorgeous grunge session between the trash bins. I think it’s really just taught me that beauty and art can be anywhere. Maybe in an alley where you least expect it.

How will I receive my photos?
Images are hand selected and edited by myself then delivered through an online gallery where the images can be downloaded and used from there. The gallery site I use for this is called Pixieset. Once the gallery link is shared with you, it can be shared with others by simply using the link. If you’d prefer to have a flash drive, as well as your online gallery, I can send one to your home for an additional $15. This is for you to keep and will contain all of the images that are on the online gallery.

What does facial retouching mean?
Facial retouching is editing blemishes, smeared makeup, etc… I will also brighten your eyes and whiten your teeth a tad if we have some yellowy lighting. This editing will look natural, not like a filter. However, if these are senior pictures for example, you don’t want to forever remember the breakout that showed up the week of. We just clean it up a bit. This also is very time consuming, so it is the reason I limit my edits a bit more. More time goes into each edit, it’s not just slapping on a preset.

Do I pick my own photos? & How long until we receive our edits?
Once a session is complete, I go through and pick the best images to edit and deliver back to you. I shoot in a format known as RAW, these files are very large and cannot be opened and viewed easily like a jpg photo. This is so I am able to better capture as many colors in the image as possible, resulting in images with a higher color range and depth. I am not able to send the raw images over, however I am confident in my ability to pick the most flattering and edit-worthy pictures. For portrait sessions I take up to 30 days to complete your gallery. However, I do often send sneak peeks as I go through my editing process. As for weddings, it takes up to four weeks for the gallery to be

When and how do we pay?
Payment is taken after session is complete. However, for most sessions there is a holding fee. Senior picture sessions for example, require a $50 session holding fee that comes out of the total cost when you pay after the session. Accepted forms of payment include: cash, check, and Venmo.
